When will my order ship?
We’re always working to get your orders on their way to you as quickly as we can. Most orders will be dispatched within 36 hours, though there may be some delays around sales and peak periods. You’ll get a notification when your order has started its journey so you can track its progress.
When will my order arrive?
We post with Australia Post. When you checkout there is an estimated delivery time directly from Australia Post. After we have completed your order, we send you a confirmation email advising you of the date your order was posted.
Where do you ship to?
We ship Worldwide. Australia Post has a list of all countries that can be posted to, with estimated delivery time.
Australia – 2-7 business days for ordinary post, 1-3 business days with Express Post.
Canada – 15 days for ordinary post
China – 4-9 business days
UK – 4-7 business days
USA – 5-9 business days
Can you leave my order outside my door?
It is entirely up to yourself if you want the package to be left, if it will not fit into your letterbox. Paperhugz can not take responsibility if the package was stolen after delivery.
I am overseas, can I send a card to someone in Australia?
Absolutely, that is what we specialise in. The process is easy, select your card, add a personal message to go in the card, at checkout put the recipients address in the SHIP TO area then proceed to payment. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
Do you offer express post for greeting cards?
We do, this option is available at checkout. If your card has free post available there is checkbox where you can select express post or if you prefer registered post. If your card has postage applied, an express post option will show at checkout.
How are handmade cards packaged for postage?
Al our cards are sent in a standard envelope when sent directly to the recipient. If you are ordering and having the cards sent to yourself, they will be packed in cellophane bags for protection and then into a larger envelope, we do charge postage at the single Australia Post rate due to having to “double bag” the cards into the next size up.
What payments do you accept?
We accept credit cards through Stripe, Googlepay and Paypal and you can also use your direct debit through Paypal. We also offer Afterpay with no minimum spend to use Afterpay.
Are my details and payment safe on Paperhugz?
We do not see any credit card or banking information. All the information you enter goes straight through to the card processor. Our website is on SSL. The website is situated behind a very strong firewall and we do everything we possibly can to ensure any data you enter is safe.
Can I sell my cards on Paperhugz?
If your cards are handmade and you are based in Australia, we always welcome new sellers and designers. Please email us at [email protected] for further information.
Do you make custom orders?
Yes, if you can’t find exactly what you are looking for, send us a message with details of what you are after, colours etc and we will get back to you with some options.
What is the difference between Handpress Card and Snapcards?
Handpress Cards are genuinely handmade greeting cards, each one individually crafted by hand in Victoria and New South Wales, Australia. They are original designs, many featuring unique pop-up elements, and are posted free directly to your recipient anywhere in Australia. Snapcards are professionally printed greeting cards featuring original Australian designs exclusive to Paperhugz. They are a more affordable option and include our unique scheduling feature, allowing you to set up cards to be sent automatically for up to 3 years in advance.
How do I add a personal message in my card?
When you add a card to your cart you will see an option to include a personal message. Simply type your message in the box provided and it will be printed inside your card before posting. OR, you can hand write your message, take a photo and upload it with your order. We have a link for instructions to get the best image on the product’s page.
Can I schedule a card to be sent at a later date?
Yes! Snapcards include our unique Hugz on Autopilot scheduling feature. You can set up cards to be sent automatically for birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day, Christmas and more — up to 3 years in advance. Set it up once and we handle everything automatically. It’s perfect for busy people and Australians living overseas.
If it is a Handpress Card, you can leave a note on the order asking for shipping to be delayed, we also recommend you add the date the card needs to arrive by.
Where are your greeting cards made?
ALL our cards are handmade or hand printed right here in Australia.
Can I buy greeting cards in bulk?
Yes, we do, some of the cards listed have bulk buy prices on them. If you see a card you like and want to purchase more than 5, please contact us at [email protected].
Are your greeting cards printed in Australia?
Yes — all Snapcards are professionally printed right here in Australia using high quality digital printing. Our Handpress Cards are individually handcrafted in Victoria, Australia. We are proudly 100% Australian made.
Do you make cards for businesses?

Are your greeting cards recyclable or eco-friendly?
Our cards are printed and made on quality card stock that is recyclable. We use standard envelopes and minimal packaging where possible. We are always looking at ways to reduce our environmental footprint.
